Our first release of 2020 is here! SD Records are delighted to introduce the newest member of our family – Francesco TA.

Originally from Italy, Francesco developed a taste for dance music after moving to Glasgow with the explosion of commercial deep house and his first experience of techno parties.

Francesco’s two tracks feature lo-fi wave, overdrive sounds and spoken movie fragments that give off a longing and nostalgic vibe.

Be Home Soon has a classic house structure, a charming pad and an old flavour piano, putting the listener at ease.

With I Thought This Was Something, Francesco keeps with the same mood, but with a refreshing groove and original and accurate percussion, away from the traditional house rhythm, turning the song into a downtempo/breaks mood.

The EP is closed by Luis Palomo, aka Ludowick, injecting a dose of energy into Be Home Soon and transforming the melody through minimalist arpeggios, reminiscent of Minilogue productions.
